I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English with teacher certification from the University of Mobile.

I am certified to teach grades 6-12 in Language Arts.

I am also certified to teach grades K-6.

Once I graduated, I spent a few months substituting in Baldwin County, mainly at Daphne High and Baldwin County High.

Then I began my career here at Elberta Middle.  I have been here since 2002 teaching sixth grade English.

I was born in Mobile, Alabama at USA Woman's and Children's Hospital on December 19, 1979.  I grew up in the small town of Chatom, Alabama.  I graduated from Washington County High School in 1997.  I studied hard and was my class's salutation.  I then moved to Saraland, Alabama and completed a degree in English from the University of Mobile.  I met Chuck Landry in 2002, and it was love at first sight.  We were married on June 3, 2005.  He and I live in Loxley with our spoiled animals (a cat, Scout, and  our gorgeous, talented Boston Terrier, Gus).  On November 17, 2007, we were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Zoe Jane. Thus, I spend my days very busy with my sweet cherub of a daughter and my gang of pets!
